SCHUELER: Some might say, we've needed the rain over
the last couple days, but the midday and evening showers have created
nesting grounds for mosquitoes.
[:08] While there have been no reported cases of West Nile in
Madison county this year, sample tests taken from birds, have turned out
positive in St. Clair county, Washington county, and St. Charles
county. This illustration

precautions, to avoid mosquitoes from breeding in their backyards and
around the neighborhood. [:45] Mosquitoes nest in still water locations around the
neighborhood, like bird bathes and small backyard ponds. Residents are advised to empty

be swarmed with mosquitoes, and should only be approached when properly
